Children's Church is for children two-years-old to fifth grade. During the sermon in the Sunday Worship Service, these children go to classes that are separated by age/grade to learn a Bible story. A takehome sheet is given to the parents so they know what their children were taught in class and are able to follow-up on that teaching at home.
One of the core beliefs of Children's Church is that, in order for children to learn and grow in their faith, parents need to take responsibility for the development of their children's faith, and Children's Church is structured to help the parent to do just that. Starting with parents worshiping together with their children in the Sunday Worship Service to ending with a takehome sheet for the parents, Children's Church enables and empowers parents to disciple their children to be followers of Jesus Christ.
The Coordinators for Children's Church are Grace Chung (firstname.lastname@example.org), Helen Kim (email@example.com), and Jee Yuhn Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you have any questions concerning Children's Church, you can contact them.
